September 7th DoCC Meeting to Feature Speakers on Veterans' Affairs

Saturday, 04 September 2010 16:00

On Aug. 31, 2010, President Obama announced that Operation Iraqi Freedom is over. The last of our combat troops have now left Iraq. This historical event marks the public’s increased awareness and concern of the fates of our returning veterans.

As long as I am president, we will maintain the finest fighting force that the world has ever known, and do whatever it takes to serve our veterans as well as they have served us. This is a sacred trust. That's why we have already made one of the largest increases in funding for veterans in decades.
